Our first scholarship recipient
Amya Scott
Amya Scott is the first recipient of the Patsy Deas Scholarship Fund award. In June of 2024, she was the winner among many other submissions from students of the low country. She received the scholarship for her brilliant and timely essay. Amya is a resident of Mt. Pleasant, SC and graduated from Wando High School 2024. She is currently a freshman at the University of South Carolina Upstate - Spartanburg. She is enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program. Amya comes with a plethora of experience in community involvement. We wish Amya the best of luck in her studies and a long-standing relationship with the organization.
